What hardware do I use for containers or assets with no battery of their own?
Teltonika Eye Beacon tags (BTSID1) are the answer: Bluetooth LE, up to 5 years of battery life, IP67, stuck or screwed onto the container. The position comes from the FMM003 or FMC003 tracker installed in the tractor, crane or vehicle that moves the asset, which reads nearby Eye tags and reports what it was carrying at any given moment. It’s the standard way to track passive assets without having to power them.
Can I group containers by customer, port or operating status?
Yes. Unlimited free tagging and geofences tied to each physical zone (port, warehouse, job site, customer). On the map you filter by tag, customer or status and instantly see the current inventory for that category. Automatic reports follow the same grouping.
Can I schedule reports so they arrive without logging in to the dashboard?
Yes. Each report (inventory by zone, daily or weekly movements, average turnaround time) can be scheduled by email, CSV attachment or webhook to your ERP. You choose the frequency and format; we make sure it always arrives.
Do you have an API so my ERP can query positions and events in real time?
Yes. The REST API is documented with OpenAPI, uses API key authentication and has endpoints for assets, positions, geofences and events. We also expose webhooks so your ERP can react instantly to a zone entry, an unauthorized exit or a battery alert. More detail at /en/product/integrations/.
